Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective financial management strategies in alignment with the project goals.
- Oversee payments to individuals and entities under various programmatic components, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide expertise in proposing solutions related to financial management and accounting.
- Utilize thorough knowledge of Public Sector Accounting and understanding of the Public Financial Management (PFM) cycle.
- Create and maintain financial models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards.
- Collaborate with large-scale grassroots citizen participation organizations, facilitating financial reporting and grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Utilize accounting software and enterprise resource planning packages such as SAP/Oracle/Peoplesoft.
- Prepare comprehensive field and progress reports, demonstrating financial progress and compliance.
- Adhere to World Bank procurement regulations and policies, ensuring conflict-free engagements.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills, Required:
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized university or institute, or equivalent qualification recognized by CA/ACCA/CIMA or HEC.
- Minimum of eight (08) years of experience in financial management, with a focus on public/private or for-profit sectors.
- Chartered Accountants with five (05) years of experience are also eligible.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, International Public Sector Accounting Standards, and regulatory mechanisms.
- Familiarity with accounting software and enterprise resource planning packages.
- Excellent written and spoken fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
