About KWSSIP: KWSSIP, governed by the World Bank and AIIB, aims to secure sustainable water supply and sewerage services for the residents of Karachi. The project focuses on clean water accessibility, improved sanitation, and better management of resources. To ensure transparency and compliance, KWSSIP is seeking highly qualified professionals to join its Project Implementation Unit (PIU).
Position 1: Legal Expert Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University (minimum 2nd Division)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, including drafting commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and evaluating financial transactions
- Legal expertise in drafting agreements related to Public Private Partnerships (PPP) projects or banking and financial transactions
- Familiarity with international best practices and standards in PPP
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word, for efficient handling of legal documents
Position 2: Internal Auditor Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Chartered Accountant in Category A or B of the Panel of Auditor Firms of Pakistan
- Minimum 10 years of experience in conducting internal audits, preferably in donor-funded projects
- Proven competence in implementing, managing, and providing support for software solutions
- Experience in conducting identical nature audits for at least ten years
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk assessment, and accountability
